Ingredients (Six servings) : One mango and one avocado (sliced, peeled, diced), four medium tomatoes (diced), one jalapeno pepper (minced and seeded), three minced cloves of garlic, half a cup of fresh chopped cilantro, one teaspoon salt, fresh lime juice (two tablespoons), quarter cup red onion (chopped), three tablespoons of olive oil.

All you need to do is mix the above ingredients in a medium sized bowl and stir it nicely. For the flavours to blend well, refrigerate the mixture for about half an hour before serving.

Salsa goes best with tortilla chips and white fish. You can also add an extra mango or half a cup of frozen corn for taste.

Low cholesterol Pancakes

Who says tasty food is never healthy? People already with high cholesterol, you'll love this.

Ingredients (Twelve Servings): One cup all purpose flour, sugar (three tablespoons), baking powder (one and half teaspoons), baking soda (half teaspoon), one cup buttermilk, quarter cup vegetable oil, vanilla extract (one teaspoon), three egg whites.

Procedure: First mix the first four ingredients in a bowl. Combine the oil, milk and vanilla in a separate bowl and pour it into the first bowl. Add the egg whites and fold the mixture into batter. Pour it quarter cup at a time on a non-stick griddle. When bubbles start forming on the top, turn it. Wait for a brownish tinge to appear on the second side. Mouth-watering pancakes at your service!
